Confirmation

Confirmation preparation is a two year process beginning in the student's 9th grade year. Confirmation will typically be the held in the student's 10th grade year. Confirmation is held in the spring. The exact date varies, dependent on the Bishop's schedule. Confirmation prep is held during the PSR class time. PSR meets the 2nd Wednesday during the months of September-May from 6:00pm-7:45pm.   During the rest on the month, students and parents complete assigned work at home.

During Confirmation 1, we use a combination of two programs: Faith and Family Life Catholic Ministries, "Zeal program", and the chastity series, YOU.

Confirmation 2 preparation uses Send Out Your Spirit. 

Your child needs to choose a Confirmation sponsor during their Confirmation 1 class year. The students are expected to serve the church and their community during Confirmation preparation. Serving demonstrates their understanding of the necessity of Christian service as part of their adult faith life.
