Adoration

The Blessed Sacrament must never be left alone during adoration, even for a short time. This is because it is considered the Real Presence of Jesus, and it is protected out of respect and love. On Eucharistic Thursdays we invite members of the community to sign up for a holy hour to ensure that Jesus is never left unattended while exposed. Click the button below to commit to a weekly holy hour.

Explanation:

Adoration is a time to pray, meditate, and give thanks to Christ.

It is customary to silence all electronic devices and dress modestly when participating in adoration.

Some things you can do during adoration include:

Praying the rosary

Reciting the "Jesus Prayer"

Meditating on scripture

Asking for forgiveness

Interceding for others
